Spit - The Tao of Spit (Smother E-zine)

This is a live cd from one of the most controversial underground artists that you've never heard of. You gotta love a guy who is more into "shock rock" than Marilyn Manson. This is by far some of the most crude, obscene, and pornographic music I've heard. But the actual music is really good. It goes from a variety of styles throughout this album. There's a little bit of punk, swing, ska, and rock. In reality, Mr. Spit is actually really intelligent (with a college degree no less) and he used to be a teacher (scary thought huh?). But he quit his lucrative job teaching so he could perform songs called "Shit for Brains" and "White Man's Balls". Some of his songs touch on some political subjects but for the most part he just writes crude lyrics over punk music. But that's what punk is all about (or at least used to be about) right? And besides he does it artistically although that may not be easy to distinquish. By the way, the link for the band is an adult site which is owned by none other than his wife.
