Spit - maybe it's something we don't have a word for... - Pacific Force, Inc.

Next up is something I have never heard of. The interesting thing behind this CD is that most of it was recorded in the late 80's and early 90's and this is the first time that they have been released. Two guys named Vinnie Spit and Claude Willey met in Delaware and soon there after started writing and recording music. This is what they came up with oh, so long ago.

This first track, "John Holmes is Dead" is a tribute the man himself "John the Wad." Goes a little like this..."he's a great man with a great big cock/big John is dead, he's eternally stiff." Take a quick glance back at the album title, got it, OK. Well, that's about the best interpretation of what it sounds like. Lots of strange noises, a whole bunch of synthesizers, and crazy rants about crazy shit. Parts of it reminded me of Stigmata/Land of Rape and Honey-era Ministry tunes, and other sounded like really old Butthole Surfers. Vinnie even has a spoken word track called "Drink" where he tells some guy to drink up and take home some fat girl home, so the goods ones will left for Vinnie after the show. (Not a bad idea) This dynamic duo got back together last year to write and record the only new track on the release "Adios Gringo." It's a more mellowed out track talking about some kind of skin disease that "we don't have a word for."

Overall, I can honestly say that it was definitely worth listening to. It's just one of those crazy, tripped-out kind of CDs that leaves you wondering where in hell did this come from. It's different and unique...which is all the appeal that you need.
Everyone have a nice holiday. See you next week.
